Industries association Samba extends helping hand to people during COVID-19 pandemic

Jammu: The proposal for project clearance amounting to Rs 984.94 lakh of M/S Daluja Hospitality Pvt limited near Railway Station for Hotel and Restaurant under service sector presented by the General manager DIC Jammu, Subah Mehta stand cleared by the Single Window Clearance Committee members which held its meeting today under the chairmanship of Director Industries and Commerce, Anoo Malhotra.
SE EM&RE Circle Jammu, representative of SIDCO/SICOP, J&K SPCB and President Bari Brahamana Industrial Association Jammu were present in the meeting.
Further In continuation of efforts put forward by various Industrial units under CSR, Vijay Aggarwal President Association of Industries Samba donated 10000 face masks for further distribution through Director Industries and Commerce to the people affected by the COVID-19 epidemic. These will also be further distributed to the corona warriors like doctors and paramedics in the peripheral hospitals. Also the masks will be given to the workers of municipality and sanitization workers engaged by the NGO’s.
It is pertinent to mention that the Association of Industries Samba has already donated PPE kits, Thermal Scanners, Sanitizers ration kits to district administration Samba. The Industrial sector of J&K has come forward in a big way to donate in cash and kind to help the needy in Kathua, Samba and Jammu.
The Director I&C, Jammu thanked the Industrialists and appreciated their efforts. She also appealed to other Industrialists to come forward and help the needy. The CSR initiatives are being performed as per the directions of Commissioner Secretary Industries & Commerce, Manoj Kumar Dwivedi.
