Industry veterans collaborate with YUGMA (a leading platform for B schools) Organises “Best Summer Project Competition” for MBA students
Mumbai : Summer Internship is one of the important milestones from the career of an MBA student. YUGMA (Part of VANS Skilling) a leading platform for B school students has announced its collaboration with industry veterans and is organising “Best Summer Project Competition”
The multi-level stringent process runs over 45 days undergoing multiple rounds and students from across all specialisations i.e., Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Operations and Supply Chain, Business Analytics & IT can participate. Each round will have industry veterans mentoring students for the next level.
“It is a matter of pride to have 60+ Industry veterans as pool of mentors for YUGMA including Hemant Kaul (Ex MD – Bajaj Allianz), Cecilia Azavedo (Global Head of HR – Biocon Biologics), Harlina Sodhi (CEO at Believe in Yourself) and Sujan Sinha (Director at Stragility Consulting Pvt Ltd). This first of its kind mentored competition is a part of our quest to improve the employability of the students and present “experienced freshers” to the industry partners” Said Meenu Bhatia – Co-Founder @ YUGMA & VANS Skilling and Advisory.
YUGMA over the last one year has seen traction with about 20,000 MBA students representing over 150 B schools in India through innovative master classes, hackathons, case studies and placement support programs. YUGMA, recently has provided opportunities for over 200+ summer internships in partnership with 30 start-ups and other corporations and this program has seen interest from over 3500 students.
