Infosys Bangalore DC Concludes the 12th Edition of Rajyotsava Sambhrama
Bangalore: Infosys Bangalore Development Center (DC) recently concluded the celebrations of the 12th edition of Rajyotsava Sambhrama. The weeklong cultural extravaganza was organized by the cultural club – Sirigandha and its volunteers.
The celebration comprised of various team-building activities and competitions such as the Karnataka quiz, antyakshari, Karnataka Parichaya exhibition, click Karnataka photography contest, Rajyotsava run and Karnataka food festival, among others. The key highlight of celebration was a 13 feet high replica of Hampi’s iconic Ugra Narasimha made by the volunteers of Sirigandha using scrap material.
To make the celebration memorable, the cultural club organized a two-day cultural evening. The cultural event was attended by renowned personalities such as Mr. T. S. Nagabharana, a renowned filmmaker and national and state award winner, Master Anand, an actor, director and television host, and Mr. Gururaj Deshpande, Senior Vice President and Head – Infosys Bangalore Development Center.
The cultural programs spread across two days included rendition of Naadageethe and Sirigandha club song, a medley of Dr. Vishnuvardhan’s popular songs, drama by Sidewing group, performances by Karnataka Rajyotsava 2019 awardee Kumari Khushi, popular singer Vinay Nadig and his band, and Gangavati Pranesh, a stand-up comedian popularly known as Gangavati Beechi.
Apart from the cultural programs, the organizing committee felicitated Swami Japanandaji with Sirigandha Rajyotsava Puraskara for his contribution towards building a better society.
