Inspection of schools conducted across Kathua District

KATHUA : On the Directions of the Higher Authorities of School Education Department, the Zone Education Officers (ZEO) of District Kathua visited different Government Schools of their respective zones to inspect their functioning.

The ZEO Basohli visited Govt MS Jandrota and UPS Khurana and checked MDM, Samagra Shiksha cash book, inspected classes and work done under School Composite Grant.

ZEO Sallan visited Govt MS Preni and checked the quality of MDM and found it satisfactory. Instructions were issued for conducting rallies for enrolment drive to increase the enrolment in the school.

Similarly, the ZEO Kathua visited UPS Rajbagh, GPS Rajbagh and NPS Taraf Tajwal, while ZEO Barnoti visited Govt. High School Bhallar, Govt. Middle school Nanan and Govt. Middle School Mearth and checked various civil works including initial level and plinth level going on in these schools, checked the quality of MDM and found satisfactory, the performance of 8th, 9th and 10th classes were quite good in all schools.

Instructions were issued to all the schools for conducting enrollment drive.

Likewise, the ZEO Mahanpur visited PS Danni and checked the MDM cash book , Enrollment register and also checked the records of students enrolled. He also visited NPS Kotla and also checked MDM records etc.

Besides this, the team of Doctors has also visited UPS Ghatti in Zone Barnoti to educate the students about Health and Hygiene.

A detailed report was submitted to the office of the Chief Education Officer Kathua by all the ZEOs.

The Chief Education Officer Kathua P.L. Thappa expressed his satisfaction over the inspection conducted by various ZEOs.
