New Delhi: Veteran banker and Citi India CEO Ashu Khullar visited a government school re-developed by Yuva Unstoppable – a non-profit organization on a mission to empower India’s youth – in Chunabhatti, Mumbai. He was accompanied by popular Indian wrestler, actor, motivational speaker, and philanthropist Sangram Singh, the pride of India.

Ashu Khullar’s inspiring talk today revolved around the emerging theme of ‘Power of Innovative Leadership’ wherein he shared with India’s young and bright leaders of tomorrow, what it takes to be an ‘innovative leader’.

Yuva Unstoppable was founded by Amitabh Shah in 2005 as a social movement led by a passion to serve India’s poor and needy. Today, the organization has transformed over 1500 schools and impacted the lives of over 6 Lac children nationwide. The NGO works at the grassroots level augmenting sanitation, drinking water, and educational infrastructure at government schools with special emphasis on enhancing knowledge and practices of personal hygiene. Most recently, it is enabling technology-powered education and digital literacy in government schools in rural and low-income community areas.

Mr Khullar was impressed to see how Amitabh Shah and his young team are reforming learning environment 360 degree in these schools. “If one is passionate about his work and able to combine hard work with smart work, he will surely be able to motivate others and lead”, he said.

Commonwealth gold medallist Sangram Singh, who is also, a notable philanthropist actively associated with diverse social causes like education, organ donation, and many more, was also present at the event to share his thoughts on the importance of fitness for young minds.

“I learnt about Yuva Unstoppable through Rashmi Shah who is Amitabh Shah’s wife. It gave me immense satisfaction to see the work they are doing – the first-class basic sanitation facilities they have provided to all children in this school regardless of socioeconomic disparities. I urge all the children here to stay fit and happy, always”, said Mr Singh.

“I am very grateful to Ashu Khullar and Sangram Singh for spending some amazing moments with our children. Thank you for revealing some key secrets to stay fit and how to lead innovatively. We at Yuva Unstoppable always strive to provide better exposure and experiences to our kids, and what could have been better than an empowering interaction with a seasoned leader and a world-class sportsperson!”, said Amitabh Shah.

Before leaving, both Mr Khullar & Mr Singh wished YUVAites all the very best and hoped that they continue to spread smiles among many more needful children in the country.
