Installation of 630 KVA-Transformer, Civil work of Oxygen generation plant completed at GMC Doda

Doda: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda, Vikas Sharma today visited the site of Government Medical College Doda where the installation of Oxygen Generation Plant and 630 KVA transformer is being executed by different engineering departments.

It was apprised to the DC that civil work has been completed, the work on crossover fly over is on and shall be completed in next two days subject to the fair weather. It was further informed that one oxygen generation module has also been fixed and shall be made functional within a couple of days.

The DC directed the concerned to complete the pending work of construction of cross over within the scheduled time frame. The Mechanical department was asked to mobilise its men and machinery in coordination with the concerned installation agency to complete the pending miscellaneous work for early commissioning of the OGP facility, which was imperative for combating the Covid-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile, the DC also took stock of the installation of 630 KVA Transformer at the proposed site for providing the uninterrupted power supply to the OGP. It was informed that the installation has been completed and the pending cable work and charging of the transformer would be completed in the coming days.

The DC underlined that it was a lifeline project amid the current scenario of Covid surge and shall be completed within set timeline.

The DC was accompanied by MS Associated Hospital GMC Doda, EX-EN PWD Doda, Mechanical Division, AEEs, PDD & PWD, besides other concerned officials.
