Institute of Management Studies Ghaziabad signed a MOU with Mata Sundri College of Women- University of Delhi

Ghaziabad: IMS Ghaziabad signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Mata Sundri College of Women- University of Delhi on October 25, 2021. The collaboration was done during ‘SAMAAGAM -2021’, the Annual Academic Fest, organized by IMS Ghaziabad, for developing managerial acumen and leadership qualities in the students.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director, IMS Ghaziabad, highlighted the significance of the collaborations in promoting students & faculty exchange programs, joint research, academic events and other relevant domains.

She shared that the institute would initiate peer mentoring sessions wherein the PGDM students will contribute in developing important skills such as Group Discussion, Team Presentation, Case Based Learning and Public Speaking. The students gained keen insights from Prof. (Dr.) Harpreet Kaur – Principal, Mata Sundri College of Women, University of Delhi, who emphasized that broadening horizons and enhancing the skills of students is a key element of any teaching-learning process.

She highlighted that both the institutions would work in tandem and collaborate in the areas of Faculty Development Programs, Management Development Programs, Staff Development Programs, Joint Publications, sharing of resources and knowledge. Coordinated by Ms. Vaani Gandha, Head, Corporate Development & Excellence Centre, the MoU was instrumental in establishing a basis of cooperation and collaboration amongst the two institutes.
