Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology at the Science Week at PPKU

As part of the Science Week, scientific events prepared by the teachers of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of Petrozavodsk State University were held at the Petrozavodsk Presidential Cadet School.
Scientific events with cadets were carried out by teachers of the Department of Theory and Methods of General and Professional Education of PetrSU – E.A. Raevskaya, Ph.D. Sci., associate professor of the Department of Education and Science, and Yu. Teryushkova, Ph.D. D., Associate Professor of the Department of Technical and Educational Institutions of Education. More than 200 cadets from two parallels of the 9th and 10th grades took part in an open lecture by E.A. Raevskaya on the topic “Memory”: they learned interesting information about the peculiarities of memory, performed several tests, discussed with the teacher, learned mnemonics.

A lecture-training “Creativity in the profession” was held for tenth grade cadets. At the meeting, the concept of creativity was considered, an express diagnostics of the individual and group level of creativity was carried out, the role of creative thinking in the military profession was shown.
