Integrated Child Protection Services kick-starts 5 days training programme at Kulgam

Kulgam: The Integrated Child Protection Services, (ICPS), Kulgam, today kick-started a five days Training programme, with first days programme held at Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School, Yaripora for the members of Village Level Committees (VLCs) of Block Behibagh.

The resource persons of the training programme sensitized the participants about the Juvenile Justice Act 2015, POCSO Act, 2012 and other Child Rights.

The officers of the departments stressed upon the members of VLCPCs to work at grassroots level and identify the children who are in need of care and protection and report to concerned departments at an earliest.

It was informed by the concerned that during these training programmes near about 250 participants of different VLCPCs will be sensitized.

The training was attended by sarpanchs, VLWs, Numberdars, Teachers, Anganwadi Workers, Asha workers and other members of the committee.
