Integrated job portal to be developed in the state: Madhya Pradesh CM Chouhan

Bhopal : Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that efforts should be made that every person seeking employment should get employment to the best of his ability and employment seekers should become so capable that one day they are in a position to give employment to others. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that an integrated job portal will be developed in Madhya Pradesh. Its benefits will be made available to the needy. This will make it easier for youth to get employment in various fields according to their skills. Skill mapping during Corona period through Rozgar Setu Portal helped identify more than seven lakh skillful persons in Madhya Pradesh. Work was done to provide employment to them. About 40 thousand people who returned from other states leaving their permanent jobs got immediate employment in the state. Taking this system forward, the idea of developing ​​a new portal has come up. From startups to MSME sector in Madhya Pradesh, talent will be given opportunities to move ahead. They will not be disappointed. Efforts will be made to make villages financially self-reliant.

Member of Parliament and former Union Minister Shri Jayant Sinha said that organizing webinars is important for the creation of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh. Self-reliance means creating one’s own destiny. Madhya Pradesh has done good work in the field of agriculture and irrigation. States like Jharkhand can take inspiration from Madhya Pradesh. Shri Sinha said that the new industrial policy of the country is in the making. In this, special attention will be paid to the development of food processing industry. Madhya Pradesh can bring good results in this sector. Union Minister Shri Sinha said that the efforts of enabling various establishments in the economic sector, development of startup activities, eco-friendly sustainable development are helpful for progress. The situation in Madhya Pradesh is quite favorable from the point of view of success in self-reliance. His experience is that the financial health of the state is also better than other states. Shri Sinha said that concerted efforts have been made in the past by Chief Minister Shri Chouhan for the development of Madhya Pradesh. He said he is confident that Madhya Pradesh will play a very important role in the goal for Atmanirbhar Bharat.. Will follow Shri Sinha’s suggestions

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the suggestions given by former Union Minister Shri Sinha in the one-day session of Economy and Employment on the fourth and concluding day of the four-day webinar in which economic sector experts, senior officials, policy makers, prominent public representatives from across the country took part to prepare a roadmap for Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh, will be implemented. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the discussions being held today are of special importance so that the wheel of economy does not stop in the Corona period, for this, solutions will come out through multidimensional brainstorming. Inaugurating the discussion session of economy and employment in the webinar, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that every person aspires for a happy life. Two things are very important for this. One how a person can remain happy, second that a person never dies. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the second thing is not possible, but for a happy life, food clothing, shelter and employment is required. The person wants happiness of mind, intellect and soul along with body.

Efforts in industry will be increased

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that efforts should be made to lay a network of small and cottage industries in Madhya Pradesh. Successful efforts have been made in the past to bring large industries also. Madhya Pradesh will work at a fast pace in the efforts being made by Prime Minister Shri Modi for Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that provision of loan guarantee and 15 percent subsidy was made for the youth setting up industries that under the Yuva Udyami Yojana launched during the last tenure. Efforts will be made to implement this scheme afresh. Prime Minister Shri Modi has also raised concerns about the development of industries in the small, medium and micro industries sector. Efforts must be made to ensure maximum assistance to entrepreneurs setting up such industries so that they do not have to bother about the availability of capital and their work goes on smoothly. Arrangements for better industry operations were also made along with reforms in labour laws during the Corona period in the state in the interest of labourers.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the biggest problem faced by the economy during the Corona period was that revenue generation also declined. Despite this all possible efforts were made. How people’s livelihood could be secure was the biggest concern. Schemes like Street Vendors Yojana provided considerable support. Efforts were also made to ensure that job seekers in Madhya Pradesh had some cash in hand along with job security. Online payments were also made to various beneficiaries. Efforts are also being made to provide capital for business in Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that efforts should be made to help the youth to start small businesses, talents from startups to MSMEs must not get frustrated.

All must jointly fulfill Prime Minister Shri Modi’s resolve for self-reliance

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Prime Minister Shri Modi not only worried about bringing the economy back on track during Corona period but has also made concerted efforts in this direction. A strong economy fuels the vehicle of progress. We all have to follow the path of self-reliance that Prime Minister Shri Modi has initiated by launching Agro Infrastructure. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that while implementing Vendors Yojana in urban areas, the initiative of Street Vendor’s Welfare Scheme was taken in Madhya Pradesh for rural areas. Fruit vendors, tea stall owners, cobblers, carpenters, blacksmiths, Bansods and similar small traders will be able to upgrade their business on receiving loan of Rs 10 thousand without interest under this scheme. Just as Prime Minister Shri Modi found a way to increase the sources of income for the needy during the Corona period from MNREGA, similarly, efforts will be made for the availability of capital in different areas.

Facelift in agricultural sector

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that facilities like roads, water, electricity, education, health and good governance changes the economy. Along with this, agriculture has a special contribution in strengthening the economy. Madhya Pradesh was changed from a Bimaru state to a state that could maintain a growth rate of 20 percent for many years. Irrigation was made possible in about 42 lakh hectare area. Madhya Pradesh recorded the achievement of bumper agricultural production. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that farmers have directly benefited from the efforts to strengthen agricultural infrastructure and value addition. Farmers got the facility of One Nation-One Market with the amendment in Mandi Act. Such efforts will continue.

Strength of women self-help groups and importance to local products

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that women self-help groups have done better work in the state during Corona period. United effort of the members is the strength of these groups. In Madhya Pradesh, these groups got engaged in preparing PPE kit, uniforms and masks. Not only this, women’s groups are also doing the work of making nutritious food. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan informed that a women self-help group of Madhya Pradesh has achieved annual turnover of Rs. 300 crores through poultry farming. All possible support is being provided to such groups by providing marketing and packaging as well as banking facilities. Concrete suggestions should be made by experts in this direction so that Prime Minister Shri Modi’s resolve to make the local vocal can also be fulfilled. Madhya Pradesh is specially known for chilli, moong and cotton in Nimar region, mustard and gajak in Chambal region, orange production in Shajapur-Agar Malwa, Mandsaur and Betul, banana production in Burhanpur and garlic production in Mandsaur and Neemuch. The idea of from starting their own special brand to starting small industrial units can be realized. The benefits of Chanderi, Maheshwar and Bagh print and textile manufacturing of Dhar should be made available to the world.

Efforts for skill development will change the direction of life

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Prime Minister Shri Modi wants to enhance the skills of youth through Skill Development Mission. Developing a Global Skill Park in Madhya Pradesh will help in equipping the youth with various skills. The provision of vocational education from Class VI in the new education policy will also enable development of skills in children on a wider scale in the coming years, which will help to change the course of their lives. India’s talent will reach the markets of India and abroad. Skill mapping in Madhya Pradesh will continue with this objective.

NITI Aayog member Prof. Ramesh Chandra Tank said that priorities should be fixed for Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh. In the present situation, economy and employment should be the first priority. Employment opportunities can also be increased in agriculture, allied sectors like fruit and vegetable storage, preservation, processing, post harvest industry along with the industrial sector. Efforts should be made to increase the productivity of crops in the agricultural sector. He suggested that it is necessary for Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh that all areas of the state are uniformly developed so that there is no such thing as regional inequality and imbalance. Prof. Tank said that the economy of the traditional goods manufactured by the tribals and tribal economy can be promoted. He also suggested expansion of the Model Landlease Law.
