Inter College online quiz competition held at GDC Sunderbani

RAJOURI : To commemorate 75 years of Independence under the aegis of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”, an inter College online quiz competition on the theme “India’s Freedom Movement” was organized by Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav Club and Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat club of Government Degree college Sunderbani.

College Principal, Dr Vandana Gupta was the chief patron of the programme. She said that the purpose of organizing such programmes is to celebrate the spirit of independence and to commemorate the 75 years of progressive and glorious history of India post independence and to pay tributes and salute all the freedom fighters for their sacrifice and contribution in the Indian freedom movement. Programme was coordinated by Prof. Sheraz Kousser and Prof Mukesh Sharma. The judges for this event were Dr Mohd Azam, Prof Mukesh Sharma and Prof Beant Singh Assistant Professors of GDC Sunderbani.

A large number of students from different colleges participated in the event in which Sanjana Sharma of Sem 2 and Saloni Sharma of Sem 4 of GDC Sunderbani emerged as the top scorer followed by Manisha Sharma of Sem 4 of GDC Sunderbani who bagged second position. The third position went to Sanjana Sharma and Shreya Gumble of GDC Nowshera, both students of Sem 4th.
