Inter-house tournament held to observe Fit India Week
ALIGARH : The Aligarh Muslim University Girls’ School organized Inter-house tournaments for the students of Class IX to XII while observing the national campaign, Fit India Week aimed at promoting physical fitness and encouraging students’ participation in sports.
The tournament, held over the last five days, featured various indoor and outdoor games under the supervision of the Principal, Mrs. Amna Malik and Vice Principal, Mrs. Alka Agarwal.
In Volleyball, Green House emerged as the winner while the Red House was declared Runner up. The Blue House was declared as the winner in Cricket while the Green House was declared as the Runner up.
The Yellow House emerged as the winner in Table Tennis event while the Green House was declared the runner up. In the Basket Ball event, the Blue House and red House were declared the winner and runner up, respectively.
In Kho Kho, Green House and Blue House were respectively declared winner and runner up, while in Kabaddi, the Blue House and the Green House, and in Badminton, the Yellow House and the Blue House emerged as the winner and runner up, respectively.
Under the overall tournament champion ranking, the Blue House got 21 points, Green House 19 points, Yellow House 10 points and the Red House got 6 points.
