Inter-school zonal level tournament for boys, girls held at Batote

RAMBAN : The Department of Youth Services and Sports zone Batote today organized an inter-school zonal level tournament for boys and girls of all groups. The tournament began with Cricket, Badminton, Carrom, Chess, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi and Volleyball competitions held here at Government Higher Secondary School.

The Tournament was formally declared open by the Principal of the host school. A total of 115 boys and girls of Government and private schools of Batote Zone participated in the competitions on the day one.

The Principal also interacted with the participants and advised them to make physical exercise, games and sports as their routine to stay healthy especially in Covid 19 like situation.

Zonal Physical Education Officer, Subash Chander impressed upon the participants to take part in games and sports and physical exercise regularly for their overall personality development.

The matches were officiated by the trained officials and officers of the department.
