Inter-school Zonal level Yoga competition held at Kishtwar

KISHTWAR : An Inter-school Zonal level Yoga competition for students of all age groups was today held here at different venues across district Kishtwar.

The competition was organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports with the objective to inculcate in children the streak to excel in all fields of Sports

Speaking on the occasion, Incharge ZPEO Paddar, Ram Loki highlighted the benefits of Yoga in improving strength, balance and flexibility.

Bharti Sharavat (PEM) & Vijay Kumar (PET) were the conveners of the events in Zone Kishtwar. They informed the participating students that yoga can ease arthritis symptoms, improves posture, boost cardiovascular fitness and treats many health related issues.

The students of all age groups competed fiercely in the competition moving from one asana to another smoothly, continuously and effortlessly.
