Inter-school zone level tournament commences at Banihal

RAMBAN: As a part of Annual calendar of sports activity, Department of Youth Services and Sports, Zone Banihal, today started inter-school zone level tournament cum trials here at Government Higher Secondary School, Banihal in the disciplines of Kho-Kho, Volleyball, and Kabaddi for Boys and Girls in the age group of under 19, 17 and 14 years.

Abdul Rashid Giri was the chief guest on the occasion. The competitions were organized under overall supervision of the District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Dharamvir Singh.

According to the ZPEO Banihal, Abdul Majeed as many as 138 students from different government and private schools of Banihal Zone participated in the competitions.

The matches were officiated by qualified PEMs, PETs and REKs of Zone Banihal.
