Inter-Semester Tournament concludes at GDC Nowshera

Nowshera: The Two Day Inter Semester Sports Tournament in Volleyball and Tug of War concluded today here at Government Degree College Campus Nowshera.

The day started with Volleyball Men Finals between B.A. Sem.-I and B.Sc. Sem.-I teams in which the latter team won by 2-0. In the Women Sections, B.Sc. Sem.-III defeated B.A. Sem.-I by 2-1.

In Tug of War, B.A. Sem.-V in Men Section and B.A. Sem.-I in Women Section were the winners.

The event concluded with Prize distribution ceremony where the winner teams were awarded Gold Medals and the Runner up teams Silver Medals.

Dr. Surinder Kumar, Principal of the College appreciated the efforts of Sports Committee for organizing the tournament. He encouraged the committee to organize more such events in future. At the end, Dr. Akhil Khajuria, Convener Sports Committee presented the formal vote of thanks.
