Inter zonal District level tournament concludes at Kishtwar

KISHTWAR  :Inter zonal district level tournament for boys & Girls of all age group in sports discipline of Chess, Table Tennis, Speed Ball, Carrom, Hockey, Badminton, Cricket, Kabaddi, Tennis Cricket , Wrestling, Rope Skipping and Yoga concluded here today at Government Higher Secondary School Kishtwar.

About 850 boys and girls drawn from seven zones of district Kishtwar took part in the tournament.

The tournament was inaugurated on Sept 18, 2021 under the patronage of Gazenfer Ali, Director Youth Services & Sports J&K UT and overall supervision of District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Kharati Lal Sharma to select the teams for next level competitions.

In his address, the DYSSO congratulated the winners of different games and advised them to improve their skills by practicing regularly.

During the tournament and today’s event, the Yoga & Rope skipping competitions were officiated by the PEMs, PETs and REKs.
