Inter-Zonal Kabaddi competition commences at Shopian

SHOPIAN : On the instructions of Director Youth Services & Sports J&K, M A Bhat, Inter Zonal (District Level) Kabaddi Match for Boys U/19 years, competition commenced from today at Mini Secretariat Arhama here.

The tournament is being conducted by the Department of Youth Services & Sports Shopian under the supervision of DYSSO Shopian, Gurmukh Singh Dutta.

The event is scheduled to be held from 7th to 9th of August 2021. On the first day of the competition more than 48 student players from all the 04 zones of the district participated in the said event.

The inauguration ceremony was presided over by the Assistant Commissioner (Revenue), Shopian, Shahbaz Ahmad Boda as Chief Guest and Assistant Commandant CRPF, Surinder Kumar and Showkat Ahmad Khan, District Information Officer Shopian were Guest of Honour.
