Interactive Session on Career Development at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences
Aligarh : The Centre of Agricultural Education, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) organized an interactive session with university TPO on career development and professional skills for the students of B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture & amp, and M. Sc. (Agriculture) students.
Professor Rais Ahmad, Dean, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences elaborated on the importance of such interactive sessions and encouraged the students to participate in them with enthusiasm.
Delineating the current market scenario, Mr. Saad Hameed delivered a motivational lecture and exhorted the students to develop required skills to succeed in the present day of highly competitive global markets. He particularly highlighted the need for personality and soft skills development in addition to having good subject knowledge.
Prof. Iqbal Ahmad, Coordinator delivered the welcome address and proposed the vote of thanks also.
Dr. Shamsuzzama, Faculty TPO also shared his views on this occasion.
On this occasion, student representatives from B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture & amp, and M.Sc. Agriculture were identified to coordinate with the University TPO through faculty TPO to further plan the activities related to career development and campus placement.
Prof. Mohd. Saghir Khan, Dr. Majhrool Hak Ansari, Dr. Zeba Khan, Dr. Tahir M Chauhan, and Dr. Mohamad Awais were also present in the interactive meet.
