Internal Complaints Committee reconstituted

ALIGARH  : The Internal Complaints Committee (ICC), Aligarh Muslim University has been reconstituted with Prof Samina Khan (Department of English) as its Presiding Officer.

According to an office memo, the Vice Chancellor has reconstituted the ICC in pursuance of the UGC regulations for prevention, prohibition and redressal of sexual harassment of women employees and students in higher educational institutions.

The other members of the committee are Prof Asiya Chaudhry (Department of Commerce), Prof Roomana N. Siddiqui (Department of Psychology), Dr Shalini Gupta (CMO, JNMC), Ms Mehvish (Personal Assistant, Department of West Asian and North African Studies), Ms Sana (B.Sc. II year, Begum Azizun Nisa Hall), Ms Alina Zaidi (MA Final Psychology, Begum Azizun Nisa Hall), Ms Divya Verma (PhD Fine Arts, Begum Azizun Nisa Hall) and Ms Roohi Zuberi (President, Women’s Welfare Society, Zia Compound, Marris Road, Aligarh).
