International conference at Kulliyat on December 3

Aligarh: The Department of Kulliyat, Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College, Aligarh Muslim University is organizing an international conference on December 3-4, 2019 on “Fundamentals of Unani Medicine: The Basis for Complete Health”.

Addressing a press conference here, Prof Ferasat Ali, Chairman of the department, informed that the Vice Chancellor, Prof Tariq Mansoor will preside over the inaugural session, which will be held on December 3 at 11 am at the Kennedy Auditorium, while Shri Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary, Ministry of Ayush, Government of India will be the chief guest.

Prof Khan said that Prof Asim Ali Khan, Director General CCRUM, New Delhi will be the guest of honour while Dr Mohammad Tahir, Advisor (Unani), Ministry of Ayush and Dr Zubair Sheikh, Vice-President Unani, CCIM, New Delhi will grace as special guests. The cultural counsellor of Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr Mohammad Ali Rabbani will also be a special guest on this occasion, added Khan.

He said that about 250 delegates from across the country and abroad are expected to participate in the international conclave whereas some notable alumni of the department will also attend the conference.

Prof Mohammad Muhiul Haque Siddiqui, Dean, Faculty of Unani Medicine, Prof FS Sheerani, Prof Ashahr Qadeer, Prof BD Khan, Dr Arshi Riaz and Dr M Anas were present during the press conference.
