International conference on emerging technologies in mechanical engineering
ALIGARH : The Mechanical Engineering Section, University Polytechnic, Aligarh Muslim University organized a two-day online International Conference on “Emerging Technologies in Mechanical Engineering” (ICETME-2021), in association with All India Council for Productive Education Research and Training (AICPERT), Aligarh, which is affiliated to Vigyan Prasar, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
Welcoming the guests, Prof Arshad Umar (Principal, University Polytechnic) highlighted the aims and objectives of the conference and delineated the various aspects of emerging trends and new developments in mechanical engineering.
Prof Pervez Mustajab (Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology presided over the inaugural session, while Prof Mohammad Muzammil (Chairman, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Zakir Hussain College of Engineering and Technology, AMU) and Dr Lalit Singh (Scientist, NPCIL, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Govt of India) delivered the keynote addresses in technical session. Prof Mustajab also released the Book of Abstract on this occasion.
Convener of the programme, Mr Mohd Mohsin Khan informed that 24 research papers were presented during the four sessions moderated by Dr Syed Imran Shafiq, Dr Asif Hasan, Dr Shahnawaz Mohsin and Dr Farrukh Hafeez, while on the other day, ICETME-2021 academic excellence awards were given to Prof M Muzammil, Prof B S Pabla, Dr Lalit Singh, Prof Arshad Umar, Dr K P Singh, Er S A Quadri, Dr Geetangali Sageena, Mohd Mohsin Khan, Dr Wasif Ullah, Er Sagheer Husain, Er Abdul Jabbar and Prof S M Husain under different categories. Dr Wasif Ullah Khan was the coordinator.
Dr M Wasi Baig (Chairman, AICPERT) discussed the core theme of the conference and underlined the content base of different modules. Dr Shujat Yar Khan (Incharge, MES) proposed a vote of thanks.
