International conference to mark AMU Centenary Celebrations
Aligarh: A three-day international conference on ‘Advances in Chemical and Petrochemical Engineering (ACAPE-2020)’ will be held on February 22 to mark the Centenary Celebrations of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).
The Department of Chemical Engineering and the Department of Petrochemical Engineering in collaboration with the Memorial University Canada, Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers, and the Institution of Engineers (India) Aligarh Chapter will organise the conference and Prof Ashutosh Sharma, Secretary, DST, Government of India will attend the programme as the Chief Guest. Padma Shri, Prof G D Yadav, Vice Chancellor, ICT Mumbai will be the Guest of Honour. The AMU Vice Chancellor, Prof Tariq Mansoor will preside over the conference.
“Padma Vibhushan, Prof M M Sharma (FRS); Padma Shri, Prof K Vijay Raghavan (FRS), Principal Scientific Advisor, Government of India; Prof Iftekhar A Karimi, NUS, Singapore and Prof Hossam Gaber, UOIT, Canada will also attend the conference,” said Mr Naseem A Khan, Organizing Secretary of the conference.
