‘International Day of Persons with Disabilities’ observed at Baramulla

Baramulla: The International Day of Persons with Disabilities was marked with a significant event organized by the Social Welfare department at Dakbanglow, Baramulla.

The function, presided over by the Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Baramulla, Aijaz Abdullah Saraf and attended by the District Social Officer, aimed to raise awareness and promote inclusivity.

The event brought together community members, local authorities, and advocates for persons with disabilities to underscore the importance of fostering an inclusive society. Various activities and discussions highlighted the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities and emphasized the need for accessible environments.
