Yoga is an art and science of healthy living, spiritual discipline based on the suitable science that fosters harmony and coordination between mind-body-soul. It embodies our ancient culture of consciousness and a balanced state of mind propounded by Patanjali. Today where division seems to overshadow the basic humanity, knowledge of yoga is a unifying force globally. Yoga helps us alleviate stress and offers remedies to contemporary health issues. I urge the youth to practice yoga every day to make it a discipline. Yoga creates a positive mindset within us and is scientifically validated to overcome psychological conditions and bring holistic wellness. We should unite within ourselves through yoga to unite with the external world. Let us promote health and wellbeing in the society,” he said.

Adding to the day’s significance, the Hon’ble Governor planted a tree at Kanha Shanti Vanam symbolizing growth, sustainability, and the deep connection between nature and holistic health practices.
