International mother language day observed at Aligarh Muslim University

Aligarh: The Department of Home Science, Aligarh Muslim University organized essay writing and slogan writing competitions to mark the Mother Language Day.

On this occasion, Professor Anisa M Durrani, Chairperson of the department, urged the students to spread solidarity among various linguistic and cultural communities and highlight the heterogeneous character of Indian society that facilitates a strong bonding of understanding and affinity amongst various sections of society.
