Interschool G20 Summit Quiz Competition organized at AMU Murshidabad Centre
ALIGARH : The Aligarh Muslim University Murshidabad Centre, West Bengal organized an inter-school G20 Summit Quiz Competition as part of the celebration of India’s G20 Presidency.
Dr. Nigamananda Biswas, Director supervised the event as an outreach programme of the Centre.
The team of Samiul Sk and Amanullah Hoque of Ahiran Hemangini Vidyayatan High School emerged as the winner while the runner-up prize was bagged by the team of Sonia Khatun and Somaiya Khatun of Kalitala L.K. High School.
Dr. Syed Atif Jilani, Officiating Director of the centre, informed that 39 teams from 11 public and private schools of Murshidabad district participated in the bilingual quiz, conducted in English and Bengali and five teams qualified for the stage round.
He emphasized that the students should regularly take part in such activities for an overall personality development.
Dr. Md. Rakibul Islam, In-charge, G20 Programme committee, welcomed the participants and guests and conducted the Stage Round of the event in both Bengali and English as another Quiz Master.
The host of the quiz, Dr. Md. Sarwar Alam, Department of Business Administration said that besides trophies to the winner and runner up teams, certificates and food packets were also distributed among all participants.
Dr. Rasheed Ahmad, Department of Education extended a vote of thanks.
