Investiture Ceremony held at AMUABK High School (Boys)
Aligarh: The AMU ABK High School (Boys) organised an Investiture Ceremony to bestow responsibilities on the deserving young students of the school to discharge the duties entrusted to them by the school.
The Chief Guest Prof. Rafiuddin, Dean Students’ Welfare, along with other guests and the Principal pinned the badges and handed over the flags to the House In-charges, Head boy and House Captains and Vice-Captains.
Prof Rafiduddin said “sports are very important in our lives and we should try to work hard to make our country more progressive”. He promised to open the grounds for school students provided they sincerely take their studies.
Prof. Zamirullah Khan, President Athletic Club, Department of Physical Education encouraged the students and promised to extend every possible help to make them grow.
Prof. Aasim Zafar, OSD Development, Department of Computer Science congratulated the Council members and wished them good luck for their future endeavours.
Ms Aziza Rizvi, former Assistant Director (Physical Education) Women’s College, AMU encouraged the badge holders to carry out their duties with sincerity.
The programme took place under the guidance of the Director, School Education, Prof. Asfar Ali Khan and Deputy Director, Prof. Qudsia Tahseen. It was organized by Mr. Rais Ahmad and Ms. Nida Usmani, the Sport Coordinators of School.
The School Principal, Dr. Samina, and the Sports Coordinators, welcomed the guests and felicitated them with badges, mementos and Saplings.
Welcoming the guests, Dr. Samina exhorted the students to shoulder their responsibilities with utmost sincerity and honesty.
Mr. Rais Ahmad administered the oath to the newly elected Students’ Council members.
The newly elected members include Mr. Imran, Mr. Muneer Ahmad, Ms Farah Najm and Mr. Haider Ali (House In-charges of Blue, Green, Red and Yellow House in the Senior Section), and Mrs. Lakshmi Tureha, Mrs. Fouzia Khan, Mrs. Hina Khan and Mrs. Huma Anwar (respective House In-charges of Blue, Green, Red and Yellow house, in the Primary Section).
Atif Hasan and Ahmad Azeem Khan have been selected as the Head Boy and Deputy Head Boy of the school, for the Primary Section. From the Senior and Primary Section, Master Vikrant Chaudhary and Aashwick Singh were selected as the House Captains and Master Suja and Master Vinay Kumar as Vice-Captain of Blue House, Master Mohd Maaz and Talha Abdullah were made the House Captains and Master Sarfaraz and Mohd Alam as Vice-Captain of Green House.
From the Red House, Master Abdullah Khan and Mohd Uzaifa were made the House Captain and Master Talha Anees and Rehan as Vice Captain of the Red House and Master Arshan Ahmad and Mohd Yusuf were made the House Captains and Nadeem Aktar and Adeeb Mustafa Sherwani were made Vice Captain of the Yellow House.
The Head Boy promised to shoulder the responsibilities sincerely to make the institution proud, in all possible ways.
