Investor Awareness Programme at AMU

Aligarh : The Department of Economics, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), in collaboration with Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL), regulated by SEBI, organized an ‘Investor Awareness Programme (IAP)’ for undergraduate and postgraduate students, research scholars, and faculty members.

The programme, held in the department, featured sessions conducted by Mr. Alok Gautam (Assistant Manager, CDSL) and Dr. Akeelurrehman (Programme Coordinator). Participation certificates were provided by CDSL and distributed by Prof. S.M. Jawed Akhtar (Programme Convener) in ceremonies held on May 1, 4, and 13, distributed around 100 certificates, expressing satisfaction with the participants’ enthusiastic response.

Prof. Akhtar emphasized the department’s commitment to continuing student-centric programmes in the future. Dr Shirin Rais presented detailed information about the IAP.
