IPS probationary Officers pay courtesy visit to Governor Lalji Tandon

Bhopal : The probationary officers of the Indian Police Service paid courtesy visit to the Governor Shri Lalji Tandon at Raj Bhavan today. The Governor told them that the high morals of work are the basis of success. In real sense, public service is a strong medium of developing society and removing its evils. It is also an important responsibility. He said that high ideals should be the goal of your work. Move forward keeping in mind that the honour of uniform is the honour of the society and the country.

The Governor said that officers should work as servants of the society. The scope of thinking should be broad and the perspective should be wide. The pleasure that we derive from making others happy is invaluable. Government service is an important opportunity to achieve this happiness. He said the country is changing rapidly. Working with enthusiasm, creativity, innovation, justness and sensitivity will help them in receiving full respect and happiness in life, he added.
