IRCS Jammu hosts 4-day training on First-Aid
Jammu: A four day training on First-Aid organised by Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region, concluded here today.
As per IRCS Jammu, it has been making continuous efforts to create awareness amongst the people of every age group by giving them proper timely First-Aid training so that they can minimize injury and future disability in any disastrous situation.
A mixed batch of 8 trainees participated in the 4-day First-Aid Training Programme.
The highlights of the training revolved around First Aid Kit, Traumas/ Accidents, Transportation of Injured patient, Management of massive bleeding, fracture, Shock, Heart attack, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) etc.
The training was given by Dr. Shelly Mahajan (M.D Anesthesia), IRCS Jammu Region and Sr. Pharmacist Kanchan Devi.
The exam was conducted by Dr. Kavita Nijhon, Medical Officer and Joginder Kumar, Pharmacist under the close supervision of Vinod Malhotra, Hony. Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region.
