ISB Impact Forum 2021 evokes excellent response
Hyderabad: The Net Impact Club at the Indian School of Business (ISB) organised ‘ISB Impact Forum 2021’- its flagship social impact conference from 18th June – 4th July. This year the event was organised in three phases: Diffusion (18th June – 19th June), Changemakers League (2nd July) and ISB Impact Conclave (3rd July – 4th July). The theme for IIF 2021 was- ‘Building the future, today’, and the discussions covered inspiring stories of reinvention and adaptability of businesses amidst the ongoing pandemic. The event was co-sponsored by Pee Safe, Koparo, Craftizen, and Zwende.
Diffusion (18th June – 19th June) consisted of 10 capacity building workshops for ~100 attendees from ~50 non-profits hosted by ISB students in the areas of Digital Marketing, Fund Raising and Finance, Negotiation Sessions, and Operations Management.
Changemakers League (2nd July) created a platform for 10 social enterprises to pitch their startup idea to secure funding in front of 4 leading impact investors from Omidyar network, Aavishkaar capital, Acumen and Michael & Susan Dell Foundation. The social enterprises also got mentorship to refine their pitches from 15 ISB mentors after the capacity building workshops from the event Diffusion (18th June – 19th June). The event started with a keynote address by Mr Vineet Rai, Founder and Chairman, Aavishkaar Group.
ISB Impact conclave was a two-day conference that brought together leaders, impact organisations, foundations, and business professionals to conduct a dialogue on the evolving social impact space. There were 8-panel discussions on topics ranging from policy, sustainability, usage of data in impact sector, development economics, reimagining capitalism, agility during covid, responsible leadership and impact investment space in India.
