iSchoolConnect hosts Study Abroad Meet for overseas higher education aspirants
Mumbai: iSchoolConnect, an AI-based EdTech startup successfully hosted its Study Abroad Meet for aspirants on January 8. The virtual event provided an opportunity for aspirants and their parents to interact with study abroad experts and gain a better understanding of the overseas higher education landscape, discuss their options, and receive curated assistance from the iSchoolConnect team.
“We onboarded 15 study abroad mentors, each with more than 10 years of consulting expertise. Students planning to study in popular destinations such as the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, European countries, and Singapore greatly benefited from the meet as they were able to get their profiles evaluated and receive on-the-spot university recommendations from these experts,” says Vaibhav Gupta, Head, Marketing and Alliance, iSchoolConnect.
The meet demographics consisted of students in the age-group 16-22, intending to pursue their higher education abroad. Adding to the demographic diversity of attendees, the meet welcomed people between the ages of 22 and 28, working in corporates or startups at the associate or mid-senior level, and searching for niche/specialized courses in foreign institutions to upskill themselves. The meet primarily catered to aspirants planning to pursue higher education overseas in engineering, computer science, science, and business studies.
“With over 1200 aspirants attending the meet, it was an impressive cohort to connect with,” said Roopali Birman, one of the meet’s experts with over 14 years of expertise in overseas education counseling. “While students and their parents made up the majority, we also guided ambitious professionals looking to advance their careers,” she added.
Though this meet was geared toward SEC A/B consumers of metropolises and top TIER 2 cities, the organization intends to host similar events in other Indian cities in the following months.
“The biggest impediment to an aspirant’s study abroad dream is the dearth of avenues to scout for authentic and credible information. As we proceed to Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities across the country, the problem becomes even more acute. Cognizant of this information gap, the iSchoolConnect team is determined to spread its knowledge across the country, particularly in small cities where students gasp for authentic information and conduits to examine their prospects,” Vaibhav explains.
iSchoolConnect is a Google Cloud partnered AI-product company that leverages the power of collaborative intelligence to provide end-to-end solutions to study abroad aspirants. The meet gave students the opportunity to try out iSchoolConnect’s AI-enabled tools, such as the University Recommendation Engine, Writing Mentor Tool, and Video Interview Analyzer, for free. Attendees at the meet were given discounts on overseas education assistance and iSchoolConnect’s AI-based study abroad platform. In addition, numerous students received valuable benefits such as free sim cards, bank accounts, and visa assistance while attending the meet.
