Islamia College opens to On-Campus Teaching

SRINAGAR : The Back to College campaign launched by Islamia College of Science and Commerce (ICSC) Srinagar culminated today when students visited the campus for academics and attended classes, labs after a very prolonged recess in college life.

Students of batch 2021 in various Honors, IPG, Professional and Humanities programs who had joined the college through on-line mode of admission attended the college for the first time. They were welcomed at College gates by the Principal and faculty with flowers.

Only such students were allowed to enter college campus who were vaccinated and the students without vaccination were guided to college Covid center for immediate vaccination. Around 20 students were vaccinated at the center during the day.

The College Administration conducted Covid Warrior Contest to give a flip to vaccination drive and ensured Covid Appropriate Behavior in sync with the DDMA guidelines.

For the safety and overall extension of a safe environment students were sensitized about the importance of vaccination and social distancing.
