ISM deptt distributes 76000 Immunity Boosters in Kishtwar amid Covid pandemic

 

KISHTWAR: The ISM/AYUSH department has distributed nearly 76000 Immunity Boosters among the beneficiaries since April 2020 besides other routine medicines through awareness and outreach camps.

More than 3000 doses of Covid vaccine and 500 samplings were also conducted through various dispensaries of ISM/AYUSH especially in Bhatkoot and Machail.

The information was given by District Nodal Officer Dr Tariq Hussain here at a meeting.

He stated that after the appointment of the yoga therapist in the department, the People of Kishtwar are also becoming aware about yoga and its importance in daily life through online and awareness camps.

The nodal officer briefed about the preparedness for Independence Day celebration as per the guidelines of the Director ISM Jammu and Kashmir and under the overall supervision of Deputy Commissioner Ashok Sharma.

Dr. Taraq Hussain also lauded the efforts of the Medical officers/ incharges and every staff member for their appropriate and dedicated approach especially amid the covid 19. He further directed all the presiding Medical officers and Incharges to be extra vigilant and take every possible step to reach the public at large.
