ISM to cover all Quarantine Centres, Offices, Police posts

Samba: On the directions of Lieutenant Governor of U.T of J&K, District Administration Samba, today kick started a mobile free medical aid cum awareness camp in collaboration with Department of Indian system of Medicines (AYUSH) here at DC office Complex.
District Development Commissioner, Rohit Khajuria, inaugurated the medical aid counter. He exhorted upon the District Officers to spread the efficacy of Indian System of Medicines among the staff working at vulnerable spots.
The DDC said that in wake of present situation Indian System of medicines offers great help in reduction of respiratory disorders, increasing immune system and improvement of overall strength and vitality of the people. He appealed to general public and staff deployed in coronavirus duties to use medicines of AYUSH and increase immune system.
The DDC directed the Nodal officer ISM, Dr. Vandana Dogra to hold free medical aid cum awareness camps for 2-3 days at each major spots in the district including at govt. Offices, quarantine centres, Police deployment sites and other majors spots. He laid emphasis upon including Sarpanchs and Panchs in door to door distribution of AYUSH medicines.
The medicines distributed included Ashwagandharista, Tab Ashwagandha, Amritarishta (Giloy), Chawanprash, Agastyaharitaki for immunity booster, Darkshaishta for Cough & problem in breathing, Anutaila for nostril lube, Tribhuvan Mishran for cough, fever, Cold, Ayush 64 for Anti viral, Syrup Cofnil, Respidin, for Cough, besides other ISM medicines were also distributed freely.
Assistant Commissioner Revenue Jitender Mishra, Chief Planning Officer, Sukhleen Kour, District Information Officer, Ajay Sharma, Medical Officer ISM Dr. Mona Prasher, Supervisor Raj Sharma, Pharmacist Kuldeep, Shashi besides N.O and other staff of ISM, DC office were also present.
