New Delhi: ISRO Launched the Space Tutor programme that aims to collaborate with startups / NGOs involved in STEM activities to promote Space education. The mechanism leverages these agencies to utilise the education material prepared by ISRO and conceive innovative and activity-based education for the student community. Sri AS Kiran Kumar, Member, Space Commission and former Secretary, DOS launched the programme on August 5, 2022, in the presence of Scientific Secretary, ISRO and Director, CBPO. Department has so far recognised 28 NGOs/Institutions across the country as Registered Space Tutors of ISRO.
