IWMP Udhampur holds plantation drive, recharges pits in Sarsoo, Dhandal Watershed area

Udhampur: To contain soil erosion and conserve water in the area, a plantation drive cum recharging of pits was organized by Integrated Water Management Programme (IWMP), Udhampur here at village Sarsoo and Dhandal watershed area of the District.

A large number of local people, including watershed committee members and field functionaries of IWMP participated in the drive held under the supervision of PO IWMP, Sapna Kotwal.

Watershed committee members and local people of the area recharged the pits during the drive.
