JAIN Design School to Host Future Design Summit
The design summit to be inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka Shri BR Bommai
Bengaluru : JAIN Design School, the official education partner of the ongoing world’s largest design festival, Bengaluru Design Festival is set to host the massive design gathering, Future Design Summit this year. The Future Design Summit will be inaugurated on 9th December by the Honorable Chief Minister of Karnataka, Shri Basavaraj Bommai. This massive event will be graced by dignitaries such as Dr. CN Ashwathnarayan, Minister of Higher Education, Information Technology, and BT, Skills Education, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood, Prashant Prakash, Chief Minister’s Policy Advisor, Ravi Balachandran, Chairperson of Bengaluru Design Festival Core Committee, and others.
The JAIN Design School is the official education partner of the Bengaluru Design Festival and host of the Future Design Summit, a part of JAIN Group, which has been a pioneering force in education for the past three decades. The Future Design Summit is an opportunity to enter the industry workforce and ready to gain insights that were not attainable in the classrooms. Here participants will meet and share their innovative ideas with leaders and experts in the interior design, architecture and product design professions. Future Design Summit is a medium that aims to empower participants or students to reach the full height of their creative potential and learn from other creative styles in the industry, through exclusive workshop programs.

The largest-ever design festival will include a variety of activities, including design workshops, a design expo, and a design fair showcasing the innovative work of emerging designers, artists, and artisans. As part of the festival, design experts will present their success stories in design talks similar to TeD talks. Various artists will display their excellent painting works under the Color Bengaluru Project as a way to raise awareness of this grand event. The project involves a global collaboration of artists who will paint city walls with vibrant colors.
More than 700 events and activities will be held during the month-long design festival, including Design Summits, Installations, Workshops, Design Talks, Exhibits, and Design Challenges. A gathering of more than 50,000 design professionals, architects, policymakers, government officials, creative minds, and students is expected to take place at its inaugural edition. The best minds in the design world gather to discuss future trends, opportunities, and challenges.
