Jamia Hamdard Admissions 2020: Applications invited for NRI/Sponsored Category Students for academic session 2020-21
Jamia Hamdard has invited admission application for NRI/Sponsored Category Students for the academic session 2020-21. The last date to fill online application is 20th November, 2020.
Candidates who wish to take admissions to UG and PG courses offered by the university can fill the Jamia Hamdard application form 2020 till 20th November. Candidates must note that the Rules framed by University Grants Commission (UGC) and notified in its website www.ugc.ac.in will be followed for deciding the eligibility and admissions of International students to various courses offered in Jamia Hamdard.
The University admission portal is open for foreign and sponsored category students for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes including medical, pharmacy, Unani, medicine, nursing, science, computer applications, management, law etc. Students who have passed class 12th exam or its equivalent (completed 12 years of school education) can apply for its UG courses while those having a bachelor’s degree can apply for its PG courses.

The qualifications required for eligibility for admission to different Courses can be checked in detail from the prospectus. Only those students who have qualified from foreign universities or Boards of Higher Education recognized as equivalent by the ‘Association of Indian Universities’ (AIU) are eligible for admission.
Jamia Hamdard Admissions 2020: Important information for candidates
- Vice-Chancellor, Jamia Hamdard, in the best interest of the university, will be authorized to change/cancel the dates or amend the requirement of entrance test and/or interview, which will be notified through the university’s website.
- In their own interest, applicants are advised to visit the University’s official website/online admission portal from time to time for updates and keep checking their email, as provided in the application form.
Selection lists will be uploaded on the University website. Selected candidates will also be informed on e-mail ID/SMS provided in the application form. Students can find the tentative schedule of tests/interviews/counselling, 2020-21 from the official website.
There is a separate office for foreign students affairs which facilitates the admission of international students. This section controls the admission of the international students and provide necessary guidance for securing admission. All letters relating to international students will be addressed to ‘Foreign Students’ Advisor’ of Jamia Hamdard.
