Jamia Hamdard Employees Union felicitates leadership for their contribution in the upliftment of the University
New Delhi: The office-bearers and members of the Jamia Hamdard employees Union felicitated leadership Hon’ble President of sponsoring body (Hamdard National Foundation) – Mr. Hammad Ahmed, Hon’ble Chancellor Jamia Hamdard- Mr. Hamid Ahmed and Pro-Chancellor Professor Iqbal S. Hasnain for their contribution in the upliftment of Jamia Hamdard.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr.Hamid Ahmed promised to extend his full support for the welfare of the officers and all employees of the University. He stressed on his vision of making Jamia Hamdard among the top five universities at the national level with the contribution of all stakeholders. He also assured employees that they will get their service benefits, entitlements and welfare schemes without fail.
Keeping up with the spirit of leadership, Mr. Ahmed aims to restructure the critical learning infrastructure – which will help think our way out of problems, invent new ways of learning and adapt to change.
“We need to innovate, imagine and experiment with new practices oriented towards regenerating educational infrastructure. We must reinvent ourself and consider the challenges and opportunities. We should also be reshaping the knowledge structures to address the interdisciplinary complexity of refocusing the educational mission of our Late Founder Late Janab Hakeem Abdul Hameed, to support development”, he adds.
While appreciating the efforts put up by sponsoring body, Vice-Chancellor Jamia Hamdard Prof MA Jafri added that there is a clear connection between rewarding and showing appreciation to your people and employee motivation and engagement. Thoughtful, sincere and consistent employee recognition leads to higher levels of individual employee engagement, satisfaction and productivity, which drives greater organizational innovation and performance.
Leaders need to recognize and prioritize their personal efforts to consistently show sincere appreciation and gratitude toward their people, and they need to foster a gratitude culture throughout the organization, where all employees feel responsible for and empowered to recognize each other for the good work being performed adds Syed Saud Akhtar, Registrar Jamia Hamdard.
Marking the occasion Jamia Hamdard also felicitated the retiring employee which was long due and cannot be organized keeping in view the pandemic situation since March 2020.
