Jamia Hamdard organises National Webinar on ‘Effective Communication Skills: Bridging the Gap’

New Delhi:  Hamdard Institute of Legal Studies and Research (HILSR), Jamia Hamdard hosted a National Webinar on the topic “Effective Communication Skills: Bridging the Gap” via virtual platforms mainly Google Meet and YouTube Live.

The webinar was organised by Dr Mehar Fatima wherein the keynote speaker for the webinar was Prof. (Dr.) Shrimathy Venkatalakshmi (HOD, Dept. Of English, Anna University, Chennai). It included notable scholars as resource persons: Dr. Vinutha H.M.( Kerala), Dr. P.R. Sujatha Priyadharsini (Chennai), Dr. Swapna K.S. ( Karnataka) and Ms. Taqdees Fatima. (New Delhi).

They offered their impeccable command of the English language and literature, highlighting the significance of fundamental communication skills in our daily lives as well as the requirement for great public speaking skills.

The webinar was divided into 3 sessions: Inaugural, Session 1, Session 2 followed by audience interaction, e felicitation and vote of thanks. The national Webinar was attended not only by students and scholars from India, but also internationally, with over 150+ registrations. It was flooded with the positive feedback and therefore it was culmination of valuable teachings and an unforgettable learning experience for the participants.

Members from several other institutions also participated in this webinar, in addition to students and faculty members from HILSR, Jamia Hamdard. The event was very successful in light of the good response and the appreciation of the participants and viewers who took away with them a meaningful learning experience.
