Jamia Millia Islamia gets new Controller of Examinations

New Delhi: Dr Nazim Hussain Jafri, who has vast administrative and academic experience has joined Jamia Millia Islamia(JMI) as its new Controller of Examination(CoE). Dr. Jafri was Joint Registrar in Aligarh Muslim University(AMU) before joining JMI. Earlier, he has also served as Joint Controller Exams at AMU. He has also worked as officiating Registrar of AMU. A PhD in History from AMU, Dr Jafri has also served as the first Registrar of Indira Gandhi
National Tribal University, Amarkantak, Madhya Pradesh. Later he served as Controller of Examination at Babasaheb Bheemrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow,UP.
He has also served at Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Urdu Arbi-Farsi University, Lucknow, UP as its Registrar.
Dr Jafri has also worked as a lecturer in AMU and later on he switched to administrative side and started working as Deputy Registrar in AMU. He has been associated with various committees of UGC as a member . Dr. Jafri has written 5 books in history and authored more than 20 research papers. He has attended several national and international conferences on history.
