Jammu admin transfers 8.17 Kanal land to YSS for building Scouts & Guides training centre
Jammu : District Administration Jammu has transferred 8.17 Kanal land to Department of Youth Servicers and Sports department for establishment Scouts & Guides training centre at Village Bhalwal.
Acting swiftly on the instructions of Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha regarding identification and allotment of the land for the establishment of two Training Centers of J&K Bharat Scouts & Guides, one each in Jammu and Srinagar, the sanction has been accorded by District Administration Jammu under the Supervision of Deputy Commissioner Anshul Garg.
It is pertinent to mention that the Lt. Governor, during J&K Bharat Scouts & Guides’ Rajya Puraskar Award Ceremony organized on 2nd of April 2021 at Convention Center, directed the concerned Deputy Commissioners to complete the process of identification and allotment of the land for establishing two Training Centers of J&K Bharat Scouts & Guides, one each in Jammu and Srinagar, as soon as possible.
Taking prompt action on the instructions, the Deputy Commissioner Jammu, further directed the concerned district officers to complete the process of allotment of the land that has been identified at Village Bhalwal.
After accord of sanction for the transfer of land measuring 8 Kanals and 17 Marlas, the land was officially handed over to the Department of Youth Servicers and Sports by SDM Jammu North Pawan Kotwal in presence of Tehsildar, Naib Tehsildar and other concerned officers.
