Jammu Youth Cultural Festival Concludes at Nagrota

JAMMU : Jammu Youth Cultural Festival organized by Joint Directorate of Youth Services and Sports Jammu for selection of Divisional level contingents for National Youth Festival concluded today here at Youth Hostel Nagrota.

Joint Director Youth Services and Sports Jammu, Suram Chand Sharma presided over the valedictory function and interacted with the participants. He enquired about the boarding/lodging facilities being provided to the inmates at Youth Hostel.

He paid tributes to Swami Vivekanand ji on whose Anniversary the National Youth Festival is organized every year where Youth from all over India participate and National Youth Awards are given to the successful Youth after hectic Competitions.

The Divisional level contingents have been formed for Jammu Division after a series of competitions within all 10 Districts of Jammu. The UT Level competitions shall be held next week and then the successful team shall depart for Nasik, the Venue of National Youth Festival 2024.
