Jan Abhiyan activities in full swing with focus to popularize Govt schemes & programs in Rajouri

Dedicated efforts to saturate district under individual oriented benefit schemes in place

RAJOURI : In run-up to Back to Village Phase-IV, Government’s Jan Abhiyan initiative in full swing in Rajouri district.

The program has three main components including redressal of public grievances, public service delivery and delivery of development at gram panchayat.

As a part of Jan Abhiyan, a number of activities are being carried out in the district on the directions and under the overall supervision of the District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal.

Dedicated efforts are being made to provide maximum benefit to the general public during the ongoing Jan Abhiyan. The resource persons of different departments including MVD, Employment and Counseling centre, Fisheries, animal and sheep husbandry, RDD etc are paying door to door visits.

They are educating the public about scores of schemes and programs launched by the Government for their welfare and are motivating them to avail the benefits of the same. Special camps are also being organised to provide Govt services at the doorsteps of the common masses.

Focus is being laid on popularization of Aap Ki Zamin Aap ki Nigrani, road safety, self employment generation schemes, online services and other welfare schemes and programs among general public. Inspection of Rural Development Department works is also being carried out to monitor the quality of works.

Special emphasis is also being laid on to ensure the hundred percent coverage of all the eligible beneficiaries under individual oriented schemes being implemented by different departments in the district.

The progress of all the activities being carried out in the district as a part of ongoing Jan Abhiyan is being closely monitored by the District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal who has emphasized an efficient approach to make sure saturation of all the departmental schemes in the district.
