Jan Abhiyan: Arrangements for Block Divas, Mega Events reviewed at Handwara, Karnah

Handwara: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Handwara, Nazir Ahmad Mir today convened a meeting of concerned officers, including Block Coordinators to review the arrangements for Block Divas/Youm-e–Block in Handwara sub division and Mega Event to be held at Town Hall, Handwara.
As a part of Jan Abhiyan/ Awami Muhim, the Block Divas shall be observed on all Wednesdays of the September month that is September 16, 23 and 30.
It was given out in the meeting that members of Block Development Councils of Handwara, Rajwar, Natnusa, Langate, Mawer and Qazigund shall be present in the mega event, besides concerned district heads of all departments, supervisory officers, concerned Tehsildars, concerned BDOs and Block Coordinators.
The ADC enjoined upon all the stakeholders to work in coordination and make the mega event a success so that the purpose of holding such event prove fruitful and general public could get benefited.
Meanwhile, Sub Divisional Magistrates (SDM), Karnah Dr. Bilal Mohidin Bhat has also chaired a meeting of concerned officers and reviewed the arrangements for Block Divas to be held at block headquarters of Tangdar and Teetwal.
He also reviewed the arrangements of Mega event being organised on Wednesday at Government Degree College Tangdar.
The SDM stressed upon all officers to work in tandem and make sure that the event will become a grand success in the subdivision.
In the meantime, on the instructions of District Development Commissioner, Kupwara, all Supervisory Officers conducted meetings in their respective jurisdictions for observing Block Divas and Mega events.
