Jan Abhiyan witnesses overwhelming public response in Rajouri

Rajouri: The grand public campaign-Janbaghidari Abhiyan is getting an overwhelming public response in Rajouri district.
The people of all age groups are coming forward to discuss and project their problems with the officers and officials of different departments.
As a part of this grand public campaign, Jan sunvayi’ was held across different blocks of the district simultaneously on the thirteenth day today where a large number of people were present.
As many as 1147 grievances pertaining to different departments including PWD, PMGSY, PDD, social welfare department and others were redressed on the day.
The Jansunwai was followed by Jan Adhikar’ session where the eligible persons were provided Revenue documents including 2069 domicile certificates,108 Category certificates like ST, SC, OBC, Pahari, RBA etc,130 income,02 mutations and 56 Girdawari.
Earlier, the officers and officials of different departments listened to the general public who raised a host of locals issues. The officers gave a patient hearing and maximum issues were redressed on the spot with intervention of the concerned departmental functionaries.
