Jan Sunwai cum Jan Adhikaar camp held at Block Basohli
Kathua: Additional Deputy Commissioner Basohli, Tilak Raj Thapa, today presided over a block level ‘Jan Sunwai cum Jan Adhikaar camp’ proceedings here at Basohli.
BDC Chairperson, Sushma Jamwal, Vice President Basohli Municipal Committee, Abhinav Razdan, Tehsildar Aman Anand, Block Development Officer Basohli Ranjeet Kour besides a large numbers of individuals and PRI members of different Panchayats attended the camp.
The BDC Chairperson and other PRI members projected various issues of public importance and sought their redressal.
The ADC disposed several grievances of the people on the spot and passed directions to concerned department to take up all measures to redress issues of th people on priority.
The ADC said with the commissioning of receiving station Jandrota, Dhar Mahanpur and 50000 gallon capacity water tank, the power and drinking water scenario of Basohli will be improved to a great extent.
On the occasion, ADC called upon the elected PRI members to sensitize people about Jan Abhiyaan & B2V-3 and motivate them to participate in large numbers. He said applicants of PMAY-G, scholarship and other individual beneficiary schemes be guided to link Adhaar and achieve the target of 100% seeding before the end of this September.
Stalls of different departments viz Horticulture, Agriculture, animal husbandry, sheep husbandry, Social Welfare, ICDS, revenue and ISM Ayush were installed to educate people about the schemes and methods to obtain public services.
Later, the ADC Basohli distributed 100 Domicile Certificates, 250 Income certificates and 120 category certificates of SC, ST & OBC to the applicants.
