Jasudben ML School (JML) hosts the prestigious AISM GK Quiz at the Zonal Level

285 participants from 65 schools participated in the Zonal Quiz at the Association of ICSE School in Maharashtra (AISM) quiz
6 students qualified for the Regionals from the zone which will be held on 20th July at Jasudben ML School

Mumbai : Jasudben ML School (JML), in Khar, Mumbai, hosted the Association of ICSE Schools in Maharashtra(AISM) quiz at the zonal level, with @quizingwithami. The highly awaited Zonal quiz was hosted on the 6th of July, 2024 at the school’s premises with 6 students making it to the regional level.

The AISM quiz received participation from 65 schools, with an impressive number of 285 students accompanied by 70 teachers at the Zonal level. These budding bright minds were divided into three sub-categories: Sub-Junior (grades VI-VIII), Junior (grades IX – X), and Senior (grades XI-XII), forming teams of two for all categories.

The quiz started with an enthralling oral elimination, followed by the Zonal finals, which were held in the school auditorium on the same day. The winning teams in each category from the Zonal level will compete in the AISM Regional Final, which will be held on the school premises.

Commenting on this exciting quizzing event, Mrs. Damayanti Bhattacharya, Principal, JML School, said, “We are honored to be hosting this quiz on our school premises for the second time. The young minds come with so much energy and enthusiasm, which is a sight to see. This also provides them a platform for their holistic development.”

3 teams, each with 2 students qualified for the regionals from sub-juniors, juniors, and the senior category(s).

The arrangements are impeccable, the entire quiz(es)proceeds like clockwork, and the courtesy of the school teachers and entire support staff is a culture that surely has been passed on to its students. Not to mention the hospitality, where my entire team along with my personal guests are so well looked after! The legacy of the late Smt. Kallolliniben Hazrat is ably carried on by the brilliant Principal Smt. Damyanti Bhattacharya and her team!”

With an impressive accomplishment of over 300 live quizzes to her credit, Ms. Ami Goradia of @quizingwithami had the privilege of hosting the Zonal and Regional Rounds in Mumbai. With extensive experience under her belt, the quiz was designed to traverse beyond textbooks, encompassing various subjects such as arts, science, history, geography, films & television, celebrities, mathematics, music, current affairs, and many more captivating domains to challenge participants’ knowledge.
